Nicholas has gotten so he doesn't mind Ryan hanging around now that his bellybutton is better. For a while, he thought that the umbilical cord was contagious and he didn't even want to touch Ryan for fear that he'd "catch" what Ryan had. Silly boy! He refused to cooperate for a "brothers" photo, so I'll have to try again another day. :)

This was taken around 3 weeks - he's getting strong enough to hold his head up for a bit at a time now.

One month!

Well, Ryan is four weeks today! Time is flying by! Here's some shots of him now so you can see how big he's getting. Like the mohawk in the second one? :) It doesn't usually stand up like that, just does for some reason in this picture. Sorry they are kind of blurry, not sure what happened with the upload, but I'll try to fix them later. There's one or two with Nicholas in them, but he refused to cooperate, so I'll have to sneak up on him later to get better ones. Enjoy!

Photo update

I have been super busy with school assignments, so please forgive the delay in posting new pics. This is just a quick update. I promise more to come soon. I looked into getting photos made in Vilseck, but the portrait studio up there is a major rip-off! Almost 125 Euro for a total of 7 photos of 3 different poses. I refuse to pay that kind of money for something I can do almost as good myself. I'm going to ask around to find out if any German studios are affordable, but it's not as if they have a walmart or sears around here to pick from. At any rate, I have ordered some backgrounds for my "studio" so I hope to take some "professional" portraits of the kids soon. (I use both those terms loosely!) I've got lots of cool camera toys to play with and lots of great ideas, so hopefully the two will come together to make some nice shots!

This photo was from sometime last week. He's gotten a little bigger since then and has started to uncurl a bit.

Ginnie is such a cool dog!!!!! We looked off to the side the other day and Nicholas had dressed her up like this - she really doesn't care what that kid does to her, does she? She looks pretty content to me.

Well, we didn't get to make a snowman 'cause even though there was nearly 18" of it, this snow just wasn't "sticky" enough. That didn't faze Nicholas in the least though - he had a blast throwing snowballs at everyone!
